Bio
They call themselves „Funkatized“, groove specialists DeeGee and EnBee.
Their mission: to keep that funk alive!
The songwriters from Berlin achieve this by delivering funk mixed with house beats.
A truly phenomenal master piece straight from the german capital, which not only rocks in regards to sound, it also makes you hit the dance floor.
With their debut “Funkatized”, DeeGee and EnBee present an album that glows
with variety: from Acid-Jazz, Funk to Club, Electro and House, a rather unique mix of
anachronism and zeitgeist.
Be prepared to get Funkatized!

Glad I stopped by again!!!
From the jump street, I knew I was going to enjoy Atomic Peas, Paradogs, and Reverse Reality just from listening to the snippets. Now that I've got the real deal, these are my top favorites still, but even more so.
Monster Funk and Get the Funk are just what they are....funky! Like them alot as well, although when I hear "Do The Monster Funk" it cracks me up and makes me think of some crazy dance from back in the day....but which one???...lol.
Picky Primrose and Dandelion are both quite nice and takes you back to the seventies. Both have a really strong seventies groove that just makes you want to throw on a tye-dye shirt, a pair of bell bottom jeans and just kick it! Something about this album takes me back to the Brand New Heavies Classic Trunk Funk but with a more techno feel. Very nice.
Jazzatized and Cheese Cake slows it down a bit, but again both are very nice as well, but still with funky groove.
Pfunstuduh is a trip for real because it's them in the studio having fun, but it still has a really nice melody going in the background. Overall I think this album is great and I would definitely say that it made the grade for 2008. If you haven't picked it up yet, GET IT. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
